Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS). This Monday it was announced that through a ceremony held in California, United States, the municipality of Los Cabos received the international award that names it “Destination with Greater Customer Satisfaction in Mexico.”
It is worth mentioning that the prize is awarded by “Travel Age West”, through a process of selection of travelers reviews and online researchers, as well as surveys of travel agents.
The head of the Secretary of Tourism in the entity, Genaro Ruiz Hernandez, said that this is the first time in history that Baja California Sur is internationally recognized for its hospitality and the quality of care it provides to tourists .
In that sense, it was reported that in the “Wave Awards” event that took place in California, United States, being the hotel Gran Velas Los Cabos, which received an award in the category “Best New Resort or Remodeling Los Cabos”.
There were also nominees for the hotel El Ganzo, as well as JW Marriot Los Cabos Beach Resort & Spa and finally ME Cabo Hotel.
Finally, the secretary said that work will continue to boost the development of the tourism sector and thereby raise the quality of life and promote higher income levels for the families of Baja California Sur.
“Baja California Sur is firmly established as a world-class destination with high quality tourism services and infrastructure, with the capacity to meet the highest demands of visitors,” concluded Ruiz Hernández.
