Los Cabos Airport Breaks Record Before The End Of The Year – It Reached 5 Million Travelers

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS). In recent dates, the Los Cabos International Airport broke record when it reached its passenger number 5 million, a situation that was celebrated with the users of the flight of Alaska Airlines 279, from San Francisco, California.

Dylan McIntosh was received by the airport administrator, Francisco Villaseñor and collaborators of the international airport, who proceeded to congratulate him.

In 2017, there was a passenger growth that exceeded 15% the previous year, being the highest increase among the 12 terminals managed by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP), in Mexico.

“So far in 2018, we have already exceeded the number of users of the previous year, which had been our best year in passenger traffic in history. The Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, committed to the growth of the destination, invested more than 350 million pesos this year, “said Francisco Villaseñor.

Los Cabos International Airport has met the demand, with direct services to 41 destinations, offering twice as many seats as it was 7 years ago; it also increased the capacity in the platform, expanding Terminal 2.

Finally, it was pointed out that in the 2015-2019 period approximately 1.3 billion pesos have been invested, achieving the improvement of service levels, which has placed it in the Second Place in Quality and Services in the Latin America Region and the Caribbean.
