Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS). In the next International Film Festival of Los Cabos, which will take place from November 13 to 17, the Martin Scorsese film “The Irishman” will be presented; starring Robert De Niro, who will inaugurate the festival’s eighth edition.
“The Latin American premiere of “The Irishman” Film by Martin Scorsese will be presented by acclaimed actor, director and producer Robert De Niro on November 13,” the organizers of the event announced, which will be broadcast at the Cultural Pavilion of Cabo San Lucas.
Martin Scorsese’s Irish, portrayed by Mexican cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto, is a meditation on the hidden links between organized crime and high American political spheres.
“We are proud to have the honor of offering the premier of “The Irishman” in Latin America , the most recent film by one of the most powerful titans of the American and world cinematography. We are happy to collaborate with Netflix and present on the screens of the Festival and in Los Cabos this emblematic work, ”said the Festival’s Executive Director, Maru Garzón. The public of the Los Cabos International Film Festival will have the opportunity to enjoy and witness one of the most anticipated films of 2019, before its premiere in Mexico on November 15 and on Netflix on November 27, Maru Garzón added.
Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in The Irish, a saga about organized crime in the United States after World War II, told by veteran Frank Sheeran, a scammer and hitman who worked with some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century.
