Los Cabos Will Close The Year With The Arrival Of 460,000 Cruise Passengers

Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS). So far in 2018, a total of 220 cruises have arrived at the tourist destination of Los Cabos, according to information from the Integral Port Administration (API), however, the arrival of 70 floating hotels at the port of Cabo San Lucas is still foreseen. .

In relation to the above, the manager of API Cabo San Lucas, Fernando Hoyos, said that, a few days ago and as a result of the passage of hurricane “Willa”, a total of 4 cancellations were reported.

“We started a season with too much encouragement, very positive, we estimate to close this end of the year with a addition of more than 70 cruise arrivals, we depend on the weather and the sea,” he said for Cabo Visión.

For his part, he said that this 2018 will close with the arrival of more than 460,000 cruise passengers and more than 200,000 crew members, a figure that will be added to those arriving by air to the municipality of Los Cabos.

Finally, Fernando Hoyos highlighted that this year there is an expectation in economic outflow of more than 33 million pesos, according to estimates of the average spending of each passenger.
