Los Cabos, Baja California Sur (BCS). After a long wait, at the Los Cabos International Airport, has arrived the first direct flight from the London, with more than 340 tourists, mostly British.
It was in January of this year, when the Ministry of Tourism confirmed that the English company TUI, would be the first to touch Baja California California lands, directly from Europe, flying from Gatwick Airport.
The seats of the flights, with weekly frequencies of 2 times, were quickly bought by British visitors, who will spend on average from one week to 14 days, in this tourist destination, which is considered one of the most luxurious in Mexico .
The arrival of the aircraft at Los Cabos, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner, occurred minutes before 2:00 pm local time.
The aircraft, which took about 12 hours on average to reach Baja California Sur from the other continent, has 70 premier seats and the rest, tourist level.
This flight is considered historic for Baja California Sur, and particularly for Los Cabos, because it is the first to arrive from Europe. Until now, all international frequencies received by the destination came from the United States and Canada. Tourists who wanted to travel from the other side of the world, had to make forced stops at other airports.
