Los Cabos will close the year of 2015 with $1.4B investments in new Resorts and High End Residential Developments.

Projects and new developments among which the construction of hotels, golf courses and residential villas  are  just the beginning of another ¨boom¨ for  the luxury real estate market in Los Cabos..

“Virtuoso”, a network of the leading providers of luxury traveling around  the world, has nominated destination “Virtuoso Tourism Board of the Year 2015″ award and s the award recognizes tourism offices worldwide demonstrating exceptional work in promoting tourism strategies, market diversification, advertising campaigns and relationships with major travel agents this year 2015.

“The prize will be awarded by a vote in which all Virtuoso agents involved, and which the results will be announced in the Virtuoso Travel Week, taking place in Las Vegas from 8 to 13 August this year. The four other offices nominees are: OCV New Zealand, Switzerland OCV OCV OCV Peru and South Africa.

As part of these new investments is  Chileno Bay, which is a type IDD (Intelligent Destination Development), with an extension of 510 hectares, which will be an exclusive resort with residences, amenities and common areas at high level .

“It will have between 450 to 500 residential units at a cost ranging from 3½ million to 12 million. It has a golf course under the signature Tom Fazio, a beach club and fitness center Hart Howerton design. In addition there will be  Hotel Auberge VieVage  brand,  five-star luxury boutique 60 rooms and 90 hotel condominium units.

Also “Maravilla Los Cabos” is being developed at Santa Maria Beach, where will be built Montage Hotels & Resorts as well,  where is to be  developed and operated its first resort outside the United States, in a total of 39 hectares of prime land and will feature 122 rooms and 52 residences that will  offer spectacular views with  access to the best region for swimming, diving and snorkeling access.

The company currently operates five hotels in the United States, which are designed for affluent travelers and they  are: Montage Deer Valley, Montage Kapalua Bay, The Inn at Palmetto Bluff, Montage Laguna Beach and Beverly Hills, California. The last one  is within the top 50 on the list of the world’s finest hotels.

Just recently  The Cape Thompson Hotel, offering 161 luxury rooms, a privileged view of the arch of Cabo San Lucas and is located along the beach Monuments was inaugurated. It provides a premium service in a unique property that offers the most distinguished in hosting and has the support of world-renowned Mexican chef Enrique Olvera at  the Manta restaurant.

Moreover,  this month was  the opening of The Hampton Inn & Suites, which has 95 rooms and is located in the tourist corridor beside the new Hospital H +, which has 6,000 square meters of construction and services will be as  emergency area , pediatric emergency, radiology, operating theaters, medium and intensive therapy, among others, and for which an investment of approximately $ 25 million was made.

Diamante  Group  development that stays  on 600 hectares, has announced the construction of two hotels: Nobu Hotel Los Cabos, luxury 5-star hotel will feature less than  200 rooms, wich will be the ninth hotel owned by Nobu Hospitality and second jointly owned by Nobu Hospitality and RCD Resorts . Nobu Hospitality is a private company owned by chef Nobuyuki, actor Robert De Niro and film producer Meir Teper, which will open in 2017. And The Hard Rock Hotel, all inclusive, which will have 600 rooms and whose opening is expected in January 2017.

In addition to these projects also will be seen soon  JW Marriott Hotels & Resorts, which will open in October 2015; Mar Adentro by Encanto, in November 2015; Breathless Resorts, AM resorts, in December 2015; Le Blanc Spa Resort; the Ritz Carlton Reserve in 2016; Solaz 2017, Starwood’s Luxury Collection Hotel, The Park Hyatt, Villa Valencia ..and more…
