With nearly $7 million on the line, the event attracted 174 teams and over 1,200 anglers from around the world, setting new records in catches and contributions to the community. Team Crudo emerged as the overall winner, hauling in a massive 634-pound black marlin and taking home the grand prize of $854,150.
Record-Breaking Catches and Major Payouts
The tournament saw an impressive total of 123 marlins caught, with 108 being blue marlins and 15 black marlins. Notably, 88% of all fish were released, aligning with conservation efforts, and every fish brought in contributed to over 47,000 meals through the local nonprofit Feeding Los Cabos.
Alongside Crudo, other teams also claimed significant prizes. Team Super Neighbors took second place, earning $511,150 for a 561-pound marlin, while PLC Hookers placed third with a 493-pound marlin, winning $460,500. Team Hooray took the largest single payout of $1,559,500 after sweeping all jackpots on Day One with a 450-pound black marlin.
