La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS). This November the World Travel Market (WTM) will be held in London and, for the first time, Baja California Sur will have an exclusive stand in which 10 providers and partners from the Baja Sur territory will participate; this due to the positioning that the destination has within the traveling market.
The event will be held from November the 4th to 6th, through which Los Cabos will seek to increase the number of European visitors, in order the United Kingdom to become its third most important international market, after the United States and Canada.
“Expanding our tourist offer to other markets has been a priority for Fiturca. From January to April of this year the arrival of European tourists has grown directly in 61% according to data from the Integral System of Migration Operation (SIOM), “said the director of the Tourism Trust of Los Cabos, Rodrigo Esponda.
On November the 7th, the first direct flight from London to Los Cabos will be made by TUI, the largest tour operator in the world, the main emissive operator of European tourists to Mexico; With this flight, at least 35,000 additional tourists can be captured per year.
In recent days, Los Cabos participated in the second edition of the annual Mexico Summer Reception, which took place in the main cities of the United Kingdom: London, Manchester and Cheltenham.
