The president, Enrique Peña Nieto, arrived Tuesday afternoon to San Jose del Cabo, for the opening of a resort, located in the corridor of Los Cabos and a highway bypass.
The President was received by the governor of the state, Carlos Mendoza Davis, who accompanied the unveiling of the plaque of the project Complex Koral Center, a development consisting of hotel, offices, a shopping plaza, and a luxury hospital. Investmentment of $ 25 million dollars.
The new highway bypass is a toll road length of 38.7 kilometers, with one lane in each direction, and was carried out with an investment of 2,5 Billion pesos. It is the number 17 highway built during the administration of Enrique Peña Nieto, and benefit more than 8,200 cars and a population of 238,000 inhabitants.
The route will connect the San Jose International Airport and Cabo San Lucas bypassing the tourist corridor, also has an exit to the city of La Paz.
