This year’s World Travel Awards Latin America Gala Ceremony was a big success for the Cabo hotels. Lima, Peru was hosting the event.
Loreto’s Villa Del Palmar beside maintaining it`s position as “Mexico’s leading Beach Resort 2016”, also won a grander title as “Mexico and Central America leading Beach Resort”.
And this was not the only hotel to win more then one award. The well known One&Only Palmilla walked away winning in both categories -Mexico’s Leading Spa Resort 2016, and Mexico & Central America’s Leading Spa Resort 2016.
This is already impressing enough, but it wasn`t all. JW Marriot Los Cabos bagged Mexico’s Leading Resort 2016, Mar Adentro walked away with Mexico’s Leading Hotel Residence 2016, and La Casa Que Canta won Mexico’s Leading Boutique Hotel 2016.
The World Travel Award brand recognized worldwide as the ultimate hallmark, where winners are setting the benchmark to which all others aspire. It is already bringing much of prestige to both Cabo and Loreto, helping to high-light Baja Sur as a luxury destination both internationally and nationally.
The President of the brand Graham Cooke said; “We have seen the best hotels, airlines, tourist boards and hospitality brands recognized by voters from around the globe and it is an honor to present them with prestigious World Travel Awards trophies this evening.”
He also added: “All the winners from this evening will now move forward to the World Travel Awards Grand Final, this year taking place in Maldives, where we will recognize our global winners.”
